What dependencies should I download for JRMC13?
« on: January 15, 2009, 12:59:06 pm »

I do not have an internet connection at home and I am getting constant crashes immediately after starting up JRMC13. Can someone please link me to the dependencies that I should download and transfer to my isolated computer?

Thank you kindly.

An Internet connection isn't required.  Try turning on logging in MC if you can.  It's under Help.  Then take a look at the log.txt file.

Oh, by the way, if I remember correctly, the error refered to in_mp3.dll.

Well, it seems to be working now. I determined that it was the library I created that was causing the problems.
I had a large drive full of MP3s that apparently went bad and so I had to do a data recovery. Unfortunately, this left a good portion of my collection corrupted. I now have about 450 to 500Gb of MP3s that I guess I cannot import because it will crash JRMC13. This didn't happen with my MC12 trial. Is there a work around, or will I need to listen to music for the next year for 24 hours per day to go through my collection and confirm which tracks are still intact?  ;)

Thanks.

There is no other way. Enjoy :)

you could install MC 12, if you think it's a 12/13 thing.

You could try to determine which MP3 causes it to crash when you add them all at once. Does this not show in the log? If it doesn't I can point you at 3rd party tools that will help you out.
