MP3 file clipping
« on: July 20, 2002, 10:10:30 pm »

As one MP3 file finishes, the last few notes are clipped before the next file begins. Is there any way to stop this and have the file play completely through before the next one starts? I have the latest version of MJ.

Try some things.  Smoother playback vs More Responsive.  Intertrack transitions.

Lighten the load on the PC by stopping visualizations, other programs.  Just to see if it helps.

Please copy your system info from MJ help and paste it here.

I have tried every combo I can think of. The track changes just seem to be too agressive.

One more thing:

I also use MusicMatch which splits the tracks perfectly. However, I prefer Media Jukebox because the playback sounds so much better and the program is so much more configurable. These abrupt, clipped stops between tracks sound unnatural and I'd appreciate any help you can give me.

It may not fix your problem, but please update to the latest version here.  320 is on the downloads page.  333 is in a thread here.

I downloaded the latest version and it seems to help considerably. Thanks.
