Where does MJ download cover arts?
« on: July 18, 2002, 10:26:28 pm »

Sometimes I can't get image from the internet. It waits several minutes and does not get anything. But I do not want to use the "add" function which links the pictures I downloaded other websites, because once I format my computer, those "links" would disappear. How big is MJ's cover art database?

If you use the add option, you can choose to store the image inside the mp3 file.

Lucy,

I don't think that the cover art you collect from websites, such as AMG, is linked to the webpage after it is downloaded to your hard drive.  I found that I can obtain higher resolution art when downloading it manually instead of leaving the job to MJ.  Additionally,  I like using Rhino's AlbumView plug-in, which functions better if the images are saved externally.

Thanks for the nice review at CNET, Lucy.  Perhaps you will share your piano music some day.
