Media Jukebos Issues

In the recent weeks, I've, just for the hell of it, checked out Netscape, just to see what they've done. Not bad actually. But, there might be an NS issue, that affects MJ.
A week ago, while still using Netscape, I had very little problems using MJ. I use MJ with my headphones and speakers, and no problems. On Thursday of this last week, I removed Netscape, for a few reasons that I won't give here. But, now that it's gone, MJ doesn't want to operate correctly, and songs blurp, that never blurped before. I've purged all the stuff I can, and even defraged. Still, songs blurp, and MJ likes to give them damned ILLEGAL OPERATIONS. It did it before I loaded Netscape, but at least, not as bad. At least, I could listen to tunes. Now, I can't listen to anything without hearing some chirps in the music.
Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, know a way to fix it, other then formatting.......again? That's my thought, at any rate.
