Yet Another License Question ;)
« on: July 12, 2002, 08:42:47 pm »

When I first bought Media Jukebox, a few weeks ago (on 25-06-02), I didn’t knew about the policy of the 2 weeks for installing on another computer.

1 -So what I was wondering is: Is it ok to use the online restore license option to register a second installation? I have a laptop I want to use with MJ

2- Also, when I bought a license, MJ was at version 8.0.293. Just after that, I started visiting the forum and downloaded the newest build posted. The first few times, I thought I had to re-register. So what I did is double-clicked the *.MJR file I downloaded from the purchase page. What I would like to know is if those “double-click” counted as restores.

Thank you.

And keep up the good work! MJ is everything I always wanted a media player to be, with extras...

No, Only when you go to the web site and restore from there will it count. you can use that mjr file for 14 days after that it will not be valid and you will need to get one from the web site. at that time it will count as a restore.
