I have discovered a great thing

There is a great DSP plugin for Winamp I *ALWAYS* appreciate. I think it is even better than the "Dee" plugin. But I am not advertising for Winamp today.

That DSP plugin is called "Enhancer 0.17" (http://www.geocities.com/i_adryan/) . I tried to installed it into MJ8 to see if it also works.

It WORKS! When you click the install file, it will auto tells you the install directory as winamp. So you change the directory to "J River". After that, open MJ8 and click "DSP studio" and you will see a new plugin added to there. That is Enhancer 0.17. I am surprised it also works in MJ8

Sound quality is excellent especially - bass and ambience.

But this is just my initial test. I am not certain if it is stable. So far no problems. Let me test it more.

Hi Lucy:

MJ offers the Enahncer plug-in for v7. Don't know if it works for v8. You can find it by going to Settings on the Tool Bar, selecting Plugins from the dropdown, then highlighting DSP in the tree to the left and clicking on the hypertext link to the DSP plugin page that will appear to the right of the tree.

I want to clarify something.

If anyone already has winamp and that plugin in winamp, you just need to do this in order to add the Enhancer 0.17 to MJ8 (but i won't take any responsiblity):

go to Settings -> Plug-in Manager -> click "Add Plug-in" -> browse the winamp plugins directory

After that, I would re-open MJ8 and go to plugin manager to configure the new plugin.

also can go to DSP studio
