DVD Playback menu gone?
« on: July 15, 2009, 12:12:38 am »

I can't seem to find the DVD menu button anymore (since MC14?).  It used to be right under the "Close Display" button (upper right).  I've tested several DVD (rips) and I don't see a way to get to the menu structure during playback.  Please help.

It appears choosing "Windows Media Playback Engine" for DVD video (under file types) does not give me the DVD menu dropdown.  Choosing either "Automatic" or "J River Engine with direct show" enables the DVD menu, but ..... unfortunately no audio.

So now, I guess I look for some combination of renderer and/or filter setup to get audio...correct?  :-\

Well, I've tried applying a few audio filters (checking the boxes in the dropdown list), but they don't seem to get applied.  When I right click and check direct show filters during playback it only lists DirectSound Device, Enhanced Video Renderer, and DVD Navigator.

Suggestions please.....
