Missing Album Art

i thought i could quickly establish if album art missing - a "smartlist" ??
now nothing there in "smartlists"  - has there been a change ?

You can create your own smartlist. 

This is the smartlist I use.

[Media Type]=[Audio] [Image File]=[]

that works but it is the 1st time i have had to set up smartlist myself - something has changed

There are sample smartlists provided with MC, but I'm not sure if they are considered an official library that is maintained. I sometimes refer to them, but I write my own for the ones I want.

I just created a brand new library to see what MC14 has for default smartlists.

Missing Cover Art is there.

A reinstall will not help. The smartlists are stored in your library.

Try creating a new library for testing purposes. Make sure it is empty (e.g. do not clone another library). You should see the Missing Cover Art smartlist in this library.
