MEDIA NEEDS TO GET RID OF DUPLICATES

I get duplicates in my playlist.  I've mentioned this before and have send an e-mail to them about solving this problem.  Has anyone else gotten duplicates in the playlist.

Please take the caps lock off.  It's considered SHOUTING.

There is no automated way to remove duplicates.

I was thinking about this functionality the other day. I somehow end up with duplicate MP3s in my library, and use another tool to identify and remove them.

I would love the ability for MJ to identify and optionally remove duplicate MP3, but see no reason why someone wouldn't write this as a plug-in to MJ, rather than having JRiver write it.

Try MP3 SpaceMaker Pro It Will Find Dups.

Jouni Vourio (rememember RegCleaner?) has written a new freeware program that will find ALL of the duplicate files on your computer and you can delete one or all or any combination of the two. It also includes an updated version of RegCleaner.
Works great. Called "jv16 Power Tools".
