Hi

I have some video files in XVID fomat which contain multiple audio streams.  They have the main audio, and then separate commentary tracks.

Media Center doesn't seem to understand this, and it plays both tracks simultaneously, mixed together.  If I play the files in Media Player Classic then it defaults to playing just the main track, with a menu option to switch the stream.

Is there a way to choose the audio stream in MC?  Or at least to get it to play just the first one and not both at once?

If not, could I add this as a feature request.

Thanks

Tom

This thread might help:

and particularly this reply in that thread:

Also the link to my sample file is still valid. You can use it for testing:

Worked great, thanks.  Select Streams did not appear by default, but there was a setting in FFDShow Audio to enable that, and then the menu appeared in MC no problem.

The only remaining issue is that I imagine there's no way to control this remotely - I assume it won't be possible to map this to a remote button?  I know it's not available from TRemote.

Not a huge deal, but it would be nice if Select Stream was an assignable command in MC.

Thanks again
