After a complete restore of my laptop to factory settings and all updates to Windows Vista Home Premium installed, I cannot get MC 13 to import my library backup.  It keeps coming up with a 'Library Restore Failed' error.

A couple of times it has reported that the backup import was successful, but there are still no files showing in the program, even when it is closed and restarted.

The backup taken before the Laptop restore was saved to a separate partition on my hard drive and also to an external hard drive, but neither of them have worked.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I am at a bit of a loose end.

I'm able to restore it using v13 and v14.

Perhaps you could try an uninstall, redownload of the latest, reinstall, then restore?  I'd recommend v14.

I downloaded the last update to MC13, reinstalled it, restored library and 'Bingo', all music and pictures back.

Been using MC for some time now and this kind of customer support just cements its position at the top.  Good job.
