Discovering and connecting to streams on the network
« on: October 23, 2009, 05:55:13 am »

On my network we have several systems running a media server (mostly MC UPnP servers). In Windows Vista and Windows7 I can see them in the network environment. Is there an easy way to connect to them with MC, so I can browse and play the music?

TO be more specific, can I use MC like the Roku Sound Bridge to listen to my wife's music?   ;)

Greetings,
Ton.

You can do that by running MC's Library Server on the machine you want to connect to.

Take a look at the topic called "Servers" on our wiki (link above) for more information.
