Is there any way to make image dates read only or at least really hard to edit?  I rarely need to adjust the dates since they are stamped by the digital camera and it currently is a little too easy to edit them accidentally in the tag window or even in the panes if in tagging mode.  Thanks.

You create a new (expression) field with edit type "can not be ediitable" and a reference to [Date]

then it's read only

(or you add an expression in the view, example [Date] &datatype=[string])

Thanks, adding a new database field works.  But when I add an expression column in the current view and select "Show Tags In Current View" in the Tag Window it doesn't show the expression column.  I guess that is a bug.

nope, (i guess you mean add expression in the details) you have to add a field in the database to it have shown in the tag window (meaning it's up to you what will be there)

Well, if it actually means "Show Columns In Current View That Are Not Expressions" then so be it but I reported it anyways  .

the nice part is that you have 100 % control of what you want to be shown in the tag window..instead of the maybe 10 expressions you have added to that particular view/details that you have no interest to see in the tag window..but if you want to see it add an expression field in the database..pretty simple
