Linux Question

A friend asked me if MJ run in Linux and if anyone know if Linux run's in NTFS ( NT Format System ) Used in NT, 2000 and XP

Um amigo perguntou-me se existe este programa para Linux e outra questão é se o Linux corre em NTFS vulgarmente usado por sistemas NT, 2000 e XP

MJ does not run on linux, yet :^) Maybe soon.

Linux can read ntfs, though it may require recompilation of your kernel. I've never tried to boot off a disk that was not ext2 or ext3 though.

Go ahead and laugh, if you want to add a file system to Windows, you have to buy a ddk from microsoft, a mere $1000 dollars. Or you can buy a product from someone else who did it.

I'd rather rebuild a kernel. (Especially since ntfs is a module, and so you don't need to rebuild the whole kernel, just the modules).

Slightly off topic I found this program can read /ext2&3 partitions directly from within Windows:
