Crashing during Rip
« on: June 21, 2002, 10:14:31 pm »

I am gettingthis error every time I try to rip a CD. I have a TDK 24/10/40 Windows 98SE 1 gig processor, 1 gig RAM

MEDIA JUKEBOX caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 0197:bff88396.

Stack dump:

I upgraded to 8, had problems, went back to 7x, and this message is from 7x (registered)

I have tried turning off "encode and burn", gone to 4x speed, and tried different buffer sets

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Did ripping work ok with version 7 (or other software) prior to upgrading to 8? That might tell us whether this is an MJ issue or hardware/driver related. At what point in the process does this error occur?

Thanks,
