iRock 500 Series
« on: June 21, 2002, 11:39:00 am »

We now provide support for the iRock 500 series players. MJ customers who have the 600 series DO NOT need this plugin. 600 series players have built in support.

We will receive an iRock next week for testing, but as far as I can tell (thanks to Terry and Richard) this Plug-in should do the trick.

Please let me know of any problems and I will resolve them next week.

Steve,
Had a little problem with the iRock 500 series plug-in from the plug-in page. Causes MJ8 to crash. I sent you an email re: this... let me know how I can assist.

Sorry about that. I will try to fix this and post something soon. This will all be easier in a day or two when I actually have a player that I can test this with. At the moment I am having to make educated guesses about how to get this to work. Check back later this morning.

Thanks.

A new Plug-in (v 3.0.3) is posted if you want to give it a try.

Thanks,

Steve

Steve,
Great work!  The new plug-in works just fine....did find that I needed to "uninstall" the FID iRock! 500 driver from Win2K with MJ8 NOT running, plug the device back in and let the OS see it and re-install the driver for it, then add the Plug-in in MJ8.
But after doing so, the iRock! 520 is there and accepts uploads and deletes from MJ8 just like it was born for it!

Thanx, and let me know how if I can assist in any other way.
