Is there a single operation to delete ANY tag from the files and library of currently selected MULTIPLE tracks?

E.g. delete Track Volume (not shown on the Tag windows) from ten tracks?

Try using the Action Window > Tag window. Located at the bottom left of MC. Once the tag window is open click on the top left icon of the window and pick the setting that will work best. Select the files you want to edit on the main window and edit.

Always remember if nothing is selected in the main window it is considered as selecting all.

Out of interest, how would a new user normally discover that (except the hard way!)? Since it is notably counter to standard behaviour, I think I would recall having seen it mentioned in the docs.
