Hi!
I thought I'd try out Web remote, but I can't find the network settings anywhere. It says in the instructions page "Go to Tools/Options/Media Network" but under Options there's no network settings at all. I started Media Server, but still no network settings. Then I selected to start Media Server on Windows startup, restarted, and still no network settings. How do I activate MC's network functionality?

The options are in Options > Media Network.

If that doesn't exist, you have turned off networking features (possibly named DLNA) in Options > General > Features.

Yeah I found it. Checking DLNA in Features fixed it. Should be renamed to "Network Services" or something though, since DLNA is just a part of it, and still has to be enabled under Media Network.

Another question, what does starting Media Server (either manually from the Start menu or with Windows startup) do if networking (DLNA) isn't enabled under Features? Does it just run Media Center in the background? Webremote seems to be working even without Media Server running, does all other network services too? Do I understand it correctly that if Media Center is running, it doesn't make a difference if Media Server is also running, that Media Server is only MC without the UI?

Just haven't been playing around with the network features in a long time, last time I did Media Server had its own little configuration window. I guess it's a bit rearranged now
