1. how to reset "number of play" across all media files?

2. how to reset "bookmarks" across all media files?
Press F9 to add a new smartlist. The list will be created and you will be presented with a search wizard. The top field will be pre-filled with "New Smartlist", this is the list name as it will appear in the Playlists branch of your tree and you can change it to anything you want.
Click on the cross to the right of "Media Type is Audio" to clear it, and press OK.

You now have a list of every single file of every media type in your library.

Make sure all files in the list are selected.

Now go to the tag window. If you cannot see the "Number Plays" and "Bookmark" fields, right click in the tag window and select them from the "Also Show" list.
These two fields are "Clear Only" fields. What this means is, that when you "click to edit" these fields, you get a dropdown with only one option, and that option is empty. Select it and press enter to clear the entry for all selected files. Repeat the action for both fields and that should be you, job done.

3. when hovering the mouse on media file, and click "TAG", in the TAG windows can see the parameters but not all of them can be change
Some library fields are "read only" and cannot be edited.
