Playing music while ripping

Ever since I upgraded to the newest version of MJ8, whenever I try to rip a cd, it plays the song at the same time. How can I stop this?

Windows may be set to autoplay the CD.  You can turn it off in Windows.

Why would autoplay only kick in when I click copy to rip it and not when I actually insert the CD? This wasn't happening before.
