J River ID WPA setup

I followed the directions on the wiki twice but cannot complete the setup of my new J River ID.  I used the online tool to generate the files, which I copied to the root of a flash drive and plugged into the ID, following the switch/power cycle steps.

What are some other methods I can try?  Or intermediate tests?  I have all the server/client options turned on within MC.  It never showed up in MC, nor did it increment the wireless clients count in the Airport configuration panel.
