Logitech I-Touch Keyboard - Media Keys
« on: June 01, 2002, 08:54:45 pm »

JimH,

I am a registered user of MJ8, and was curious if there is anyway
you could enable MJ to support the media keys (play, pause, etc.)
on the Logitech I-touch keyboards.  Logitech directly supports the
following media players:

-  Windows CD Player
 -  Windows Media Player up to version 8.x
 -  Plus Pack Deluxe CD player
 -  MusicMatch(tm) versions 4.x and above
 -  RealJukeBox(tm) versions 1.x, 2.x
 -  RealAudio versions 7 and 8
 -  Creative PlayCenter versions 1.5, 2.x
 -  WinAmp 2.x
 -  Sonique 1.9 and 2.0
 -  LiquidPlayer 5.3
 -  CineMaster(tm) DVD Player
 -  MediaMatics DVD Player
 -  Toshiba SDMI202
 -  Sony PowerDVD
 -  Intervideo WinDVD 2.1
 -  DVD Express

I use MJ for everything, so it's kind of frustrating...

Thanks!

Try a search here.  In an old thread you'll find the ini file entries.

It's up to Logitech to add support.

You need a add a line to your players.ini in your logitech directory.

Thanks, Gatobrit, for reporting it in your earlier thread. Here's the line again:

MediaJukebox=cmd,media jukebox.exe,MJFrame,MEDIA JUKEBOX,xxx,32778,32779,32780,32781,32782,0,1,Media Jukebox

Thanks!!  This worked perfectly.  You do have to reboot with XP before
the changes in the  '.ini' file in the i-touch directory will get
recognized.  Works minimized and maximized under XP Pro.
