I want to be sure I understand how to properly setup "Folder Locations" on my client machine.

1) Am I supposed to select the Audio, Video, and Image locations/folders "on the Server computer" where I keep all my media - or do I select folders on my Client machine (even though I have no media on the client).

2) What is the purpose of Folder Locations (on a client computer that is not used to store any media)?

3) Do I need to setup/use "Auto-Import" under Library & Folders, on my client machine (when I am using the "Server's Library" through the Media Network feature)?

I thought I had this all figured out, but now I'm changing things around a bit and got myself confused.  ?
Thanks

The locations in Options > File Location > ... are used when MC stores new stuff that comes in from various sources (ripped Audio CDs or DVD videos, images from a camera, etc) and for storing cover art, cache and temp files. You can leave them to default or adjust to your linking. They are mostly unused when a client is running a loaded Library Server library.

No.
