Just recently, I've ran into this kind of difficulty: I'll be listening to a track, usually a hi-res 24/96 file, and if I'm doing something else that's data intensive (like running a security scan); first the marker block that indicates your current position in the track will bounce around, then the word "Buffering" appears where the kBs and elapsed time normally are, then I'll hear a short dropout (generally less than 20 seconds).

Is this because of latency or inadequate RAM? What can I do to prevent it?
