M2V files

For some re4ason MC16 (16.0.179) is categorizing my m2v files as documents not videos. How can I change this please?

You can edit the Media Subtype tag.

You simply:
  • select the files in question in MC
  • right click selection and choose 'Tag'
  • modify the Media Subtype tag (a Tag action window appears in the lower left corner of MC)

Select the file, choose Tag in the Action Window (lower left corner).

Then use the small icon in the upper left corner of the Tag Window to change what's displayed to all tags.

When you have trouble finding something in MC, click around, use the right click, and explore the menus, or try search in the Wiki.
