User Account Control advice
« on: October 05, 2011, 10:21:35 am »

I have JRMC16 installed on a desktop computer that is primarily used by my teenage daughters ( :o).  The computer is a Windows 7 machine that has two user accounts -- one with Administrative privileges that I use to tinker with settings, and a Standard User account that the girls use.  When logged in using the girls' Standard User account, they receive frequent JRMC16 frequent "User Account Control" pop-ups that has the title "Do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer?" and a reference to MC.  The popup requires that the Administrative password is entered to continue.  This popup prevents MC from updating, and prevents it from even being used after a computer reboot.

I imagine that I need to change a couple of settings to avoid this popup, but I am ignorant of what to do.  Any advice?

Thanks.  Charlie
