Hello,

Running a laptop with MC and all my flacs....have it running ok for the most part.
The area of setting up MC etc always is confusing when trying to get 'bit' perfect output etc.

The Dac has its setup in WIN7, in my case a HRT Music Streamer ii +, set to 24bits, 44.1 Khz per the manufacturer for the majority of my 2 ch redbook flacs. Also exclusive mode is set etc.

In MC if I am not using a sound card do I have to select and configure the audio output at all?? This is where u select DSD, ASIO, etc..WASAPI...

The data from the laptop USB to the USB DAC is working, the sound is excellent, I cant hear or detect any difference in this vs the cd in a good cd player...

So seeing how I am not really using a sound card...do I need to select WASAPI event mode at all in MC.

Using exclusive mode in Win7 which allows for the bits to go from Win7 directly to the USB DAC seems to be working?

Is this bit perfect?
