Hi,

I have MC16 working across HDMI to an Onkyo amplifier via WASAPI - Event style. I have "open device for exclusive access" allowed for the better sound quality and it works great.

One problem: MC16 wont let go of exclusive access once the program is closed. No matter what I have tried, I simply cannot get sound to come across in another program.

It even locks out access immediately after a reboot (before MC16 is even launched), but as soon as I open MC16, glorious sound comes out from it so its definitely some MC16 process doing this.

anyone else see this issue/have a fix? I tried just not using exclusive access, but I was unable to get anything to play unless I had it on.

Any thoughts?
