Facebook asks to login each time
« on: November 23, 2011, 10:27:22 am »

I think that's up to facebook, but try using a browser to do the same and see what happens.   Please start a new thread if you need to discuss it.
What do you mean? I can work with Facebook and upload photos from the site in any browser without necessity to login each time.

I agree.  This happens to me too and it is really annoying.

Every time I use MC's Facebook upload system, I have to re-authorize it.  There is a checkbox on the web login dialog that says "remember me" and I check it every time, but it doesn't work.

I want the HTPC's MC to login as my wife, and my basement machine in the man-cave to login as me.

It seems to me like MC's web UI component isn't storing the cookies properly, or is expiring them prematurely, or something.  When you "destroy" the web UI object, does it destroy all cookies unless you explicitly save them or something?

It's been like that a long time now. Mr ChriZ has also complained in the past.

I simply don't use it anymore. My password is an auto generated one that I have no hope of ever remembering, so every time MC asks, I have to go look it up.

Same here.  I use LastPass (fantastic, by the way).  Unfortunately, since I can't get the LastPass extension to install in MC's "version" of the browser, I have to look it up externally and then copy/paste.

Like you, Marko... That means I usually just hit cancel.
