Upgraded to MJ Plus and Editor doesn't work. It won't open a file. Everything else OK. What happened?. How do I fix it?

It works.  Try not running MJ at the same time.  Opening can take a while.  Try a small file first.

I'm having big problems with the editor myself, even when starting the editor without the Jukebox running.

The editor starts fine.  I'll go to open a file for editing and navigate to the appropriate track.  However, once I've selected the track and the "decoding" dialogue box comes up, the editor becomes non-responsive.  Pulling up the task manager lists the program as "not responding," and I end up using the task manager to quit the program as well.

This is with MJ Plus 7.2.280 running under Windows XP.

what version do you have, and are you using windows xp?

there is a problem with mj7 and windows xp, that when you select a file and then click on open it seems like media editor will not load the file.

instead if you select the file and then hit enter (do not click on open) this normaly will load the file with no problem

this problem was also seen in early versions of MJ8 and windows XP
