How to stop MC enumerating disconnected network drives?
« on: January 04, 2012, 10:27:18 am »

Hello,
Some time ago I setup a couple of network shares to act as fake handhelds. These shares are now disconnected but MC still tries to enumerate them and freezes every now and then for 30-60 seconds.
Here's the log entry for one of them:
Code: [Select]
0025937: 2200: Handheld: CHHManager::InitializeProxyDevice: Start
0041687: 2200: General: CFileSystemManager::GetDriveExists: Error adding connection 'R:' / '\\Fujatom\Media': 53
0041687: 2200: General: CFileSystemManager::GetDriveExists: Drive does not exist (drive: \\Fujatom\Media, filename: R:\)
0041687: 2200: Handheld: CHHManager::InitializeProxyDevice: Finish (15750 ms)

Is there a way to remove such rogue drives from the handheld list (without resetting it)?

Thanks!

You can right-click a device in the tree and 'Remove & Ignore'.

Matt,
They're not connected, so they're not in the tree...

You can right-click a device in the tree and 'Remove & Ignore'.
