Hi,

I have a Thinkpad T43 that I want to use Media Center 16 on.  It has Windows XP and will be connected to a Sony Bravia LCD HDTV.  I will use this PC mainly for playing FLAC music files.  Below are the exact specs.  Is this computer sufficient to run Media Center 16 with Theater View?  Thanks in advance for your feedback.

If you do not plan to play videos, I cannot see why it shouldn't work.
You do not specify any audio. Do you plan to use the T43 to play the songs and connect the headphone jack with your TV ?

Maybe you would wish for some extra harddisk capacity. One CD will occupy approx. 300Mb.

Does your Sony TV have an ethernet connection and support DLNA ?

Most XP systems work perfectly. A few play video jerky. Suggest you test video before investing a lot of time.

Please ignore previous comment. I replied from my iPad not realizing this was in the MC16 thread.

MC16 works perfectly with XP. MC17 may have a problem on a few XP systems.
