Freeze Panes option?
« on: March 14, 2012, 10:06:04 am »

Has adding a freeze panes option in JRiver ever been discussed? I use this all the time in Excel to freeze my title row and a few key columns.

As I work with more and more fields in JRiver, it would be very useful to freeze the Name and Artist columns so that they are always visible as I scroll through the columns that don't fit on my screen.

Also useful and applicable more generally would be the ability to "freeze" any column so it (and those to the left if it) do not scroll off-screen. I imagine the exact same behaviour as the same feature in a spreadsheet would be perfect. This could be used to freeze artist/album in an audio view, title/year for movies, series/season/episode for series, etc.

+1 ;)

LOL! Direct hit.

We need to make this happen. I just discovered the usefulness of Playback Range which means I just crested 30 fields in my standard view.
