video freezeing
« on: May 06, 2012, 05:15:46 am »

hi
i have media center 17.0.122 on a PC running windows 7 64 bit
Intel i5 2400 CPU
8 gig of ram
amid 6990 graphics with 2 gig of ram
my trial is running out and i want to purchase but I'm having a wired problem with all types of video files.
at some point during playback of a film (in hd) the picture will freeze but sound continues then the video speeds up to re sync, or sometimes it freezes and then jumps to where it should be.
i have tried changing setting in options, I'm using red October HQ,(in this mode it happens less )
and my sound is wasapi event style.
please help
thanks

Update.  MC17.0.147 is current.

Try Red October Std.

Try videoclock on and off.

Try hardware acceleration on and off.
