I have just downloaded v 7.2 to replace MJ 5 and wanted to see how well it performed with its encoding etc . The install went OK and it grabbed over playlists from the old MJ version however I was very disappointed not have been able to evaluate the ripping and encoding features of this package is there any way round this .
Whilst many of the features on the interface improve funtionality I thought there was a real tendency to move down the line of real jukebox and make the interface too complicated in appearance I liked the old single head artist icon symbols . I also liked the ability to use the skin called Toxic which incorporated some features like a clock display on the interface with good contrast on grey colours as did MJ 5 as a whole. The overall simplicity of interface of MJ 5 was appealing. Not withstanding that some features are great improvements like the sliding song title so the full son g title can be viewed in small panes and also the Song info when a cursor is placed over a title . I wonder how the product would shape up when converting ripping and encoding unfortunately I cant evaluate this anyone help
