cloud based collaboration app - recommendations please

I'm looking for a cloud based app for about a dozen people that want to collaborate on producing an online multi-media "book" consisting of annotated photos, documents, audio clips, and possibly video clips.

Recommendations would be appreciated.

If you find that Google Docs doesn't meet your needs in the future, I can recommend BaseCamp.  It works great and integrates with TONS of other products.  One really nice integration is BaseCamp + Harvest for project management, collaboration, and billing.
