I'm not sure if this has been covered before but is there a process within MediaCenter for creating and printing a catalog of media files? If not can someone recommend a utility. I have approximately 19000 music files, mostly WAV. I'd like to at least create a list of albums to perhaps be exported into Excel.

I think the Export playlist feature can do what you want.

Create a playlist, add the fields to the view you would like to export.

Choose File/Export Playlist.

Choose a filename and location.

Format: Text file (CSV delimited)
Included Fields: All Fields
Output Range: All

Open the file in Excel, voila!
