MJ crashing with multiple file property updating

I can update the tag info on a single file in media library, however when multiple files are selected for updating, MJ crashes.  This behavior started immediately after I renamed a custom field in media library, but this could be coincidental.  The first time this occured, I received a "runtime 1" error with "abnormal program termination." Subsequent attempts consistently result in MJ crashing.

Someone just reported a similar problem (thread called ...BOD...).  Thought to be when a file that didn't exist was included.

I get this all the time with v8.

Just as a follow-up, the files are present because I can update each individually.  Once this is fixed, it would be nice to be able to select multiple albums in the tree for updating, rather than scrolling through the file list.
