Licensing Guidelines
« on: May 15, 2013, 09:33:14 am »

I don't see it in any FAQ, but what are the licensing guidelines for multiple machine usage?  How many local machines (owned and run by the licensee only) could be run according to the terms of license?

For example, I'm using three MC's on three machines in my home.  My main studio DAW which is also the central MC server, on a portable machine as a client and secondary server, and on an HTPC as a client to either of the other machines.

Should I have more than one license?

The JRiver Purchase page says the following:

Quote
Q: Can I install on more than one PC?
A: During the two-week period after you have purchased or restored, you can use the Install Key you received to activate the program on your other PC’s. You may use the program on your work PC and on your home PC's with a single license.

You also can get up to 10 install keys in a 1 year period so you can install to another PC at a later date. The install keys expire after two-weeks, though.

No, you don't need separate licenses.
