"Warning nothing to play"
« on: May 11, 2013, 01:42:01 am »

A question for bob.

A user of BubbleUPnP reported that sometimes MC displays a popup "Warning nothing to play".
It was reported happening sometimes, playing FLAC served by MC to MC, using the latest version (18.0.175).

Of course I cannot reproduce it. What can cause MC to display that error ?

Perhaps he restarted MC on the server without rebrowsing on the client?
The container ID's (other than the fixed first level ones) are generated dynamically as one browses the tree.
The result is if the server is restarted and the client doesn't restart there could be stale information on the client (referring to non-existent containers).

After more debugging, we found out that it only happens sometimes, when BubbleUpnP use eventing to get MC state instead of the usual polling.
I didn't look into it yet, and it may be a BubbleUPnP issue.
