DSP Studio (QUESTION)
« on: April 03, 2002, 05:28:40 am »

Hey everyone,

If you're seeing duplicates in the DSP Studio (EQ, Effects, etc. listed twice), go to Plugin Manager and uninstall the MJ DSP plugins NOT named "MJ DSP".

However, could you tell us the name of the duplicate entry before you erase it?  We can't remember what it was called, and we want to automatically erase it on installation of the newer versions.

As an aside, do people have any questions or requests for the DSP studio?  Also, look for things like integrated DirectX plugin support and the like to show up with time.

Thanks.

Matt - the entry was called "MJ DSP Settings". I uninstalled but had to restart MJ for the duplicate entries to go away.

I have "Media Jukebox DSP" (Description is "Effects") and "MJ DSP" (Description is "Media Jukebox DSP's").

I should delete the "Media Jukebox DSP" plugin?

Buttons that highlight when moused over would be nice. Then you wouldn't get stupid requests' from people like me who have to learn the hard way. Make it more intuitive. This has been brought up before about something else. It is also reviewed this way elsewhere. If you go to this link notice what they say to start out with. Change that, and you have a real winner.

A default setting that swictes to zero processing. I know turning off does that but....I like to start from scratch
when EQing a new place, and create  a preset.
Mostly I like to run things as they are Mastered minimal processing ....But.....Next Page

Smiler,
If it was clear to you what was meant by that statement, would you still say the same thing?Listening to: 'Secret Vows' from 'Love Songs' by 'Yanni' on Media Jukebox

Hi

Sorry to jumpin late but...

The Peak Level display jumps about as the numbers change between single and double digits.
Have no problem with moving displays, but numbers that move addle my poor brain.

Alternative display options - VU Meter, LEDs or Bar would be nice Next Page
