Install Path

I currently have MC Version 17 installed on an SSD that will be moving to another computer. Is there any way to change this? I'm going to  be upgrading to Version 18 soon. Would it be easier to simply change the location of the trial version at that time? Also, I read through the first 20 entries on the "Upgrading" topic and didn't really get any instructional info. from it. I would prefer to pay for an upgrade as opposed to purchasing as if for the first time. Can someone please tell me how to get the Download page to recognize my current version without installing the 18 trial version in the same location?

When you install MC18, pick 'Custom' in the install and you can pick a path (and many other options).

To upgrade, restore your MC17 license (no need to install MC17), then purchase from inside the program.
