Any way to get madvr osd to open/close with MCE Remote?

I'm trying to finish setting up the htpc, and probably don't want to leave the keyboard plugged in, but would be nice if there was a way to assign a key from mce to open / close the madvr OSD. Any ideas if this is possible?
