I have the latest version of MC18 installed. I have some video files I downloaded from Amazon that won't play. I can doubleclick to start the movie (Grimm TV series) and the screen will appear but nothing happens beyond that. The files will play fine in Windows media player and Amazon Unbox. Other WMV files seem to play OK and some smaller files from the Grimm series play OK as well.
It may be possible that copy-protection is rearing its ugly head here. I copied one of the files to a DVD-RW and received the message: Your device is not authorized to play this DIVX protected video.
If it were not for the fact that Windows media player can play these file, I'd would not have posted.
Is there any possible solution?
