Cover Art - Strips out Embedded Art
« on: June 16, 2013, 07:27:14 pm »

Apologize if this has been converted tried several searches

There are certain albums when imported that do not show the cover art. I have used media range to embed cover art into each of the files. I can see the cover art in the finder... If I take the file to iTunes it seem the embedded cover art.

I set the cover art to same folder as file and tried to reimport.. still nothing.. tried changing image still nothing.. added a folder.tif to the folder and on import still nothing

If I then do a quick find in file/directory the cover art shows up BUT it takes out all my embedded cover art..

Not sure what I am doing wrong or if there additional parms I am missing..

Here is what I did.

(1) Put the image of the cover art in the Album directory (for one CD files)
     as Folder.jpg
(2) in Tools->Options
     in the Cover Art section
set Auto mode: in the same folder as the file (as Folder.jpg)

     IN addition,  set
"also store image in the files's tag"
THen click on
Tools->Cover Art->Quick find in file and cover art directory
this will first remove existing cover art embedded in each file
and after a while, each file's tag will have the image as in Folder.jpg
that I put in (1).

Hope this helps for you.
