I recently tried to stream Media Center 18 via Airfoil to my Apple Airport Express. I got some distortion that comes and goes in some frequencies (about where the snaredrum is). I can play a song or two and the distortions begins to be audible. It soon after that accelerates into 100% distortion through the whole frequency span.

No problems with Airfoil streaming Spotify or other software. No problems with listening on the computer with a USB dac either. Just Media Center and streaming.

I would like some help with recognising what to do here.
I tried to change output mode without any luck.
