Using JRemote outside home wifi
« on: August 06, 2013, 11:01:10 am »

Can I stream my home library on another wifi network, outside my house, using JRemote for iPhone?

I tried searching for the subject but I can't find anything that will help me setting things up.

Thanks.

Can't connect to WebGizmo when I provide my access key as well. Do I have to port foward? I don't have a firewall on my mac.

I did set up a manual ip on the mac. 198.168.0.***

JRemote works fine on my home network.

I'm trying to provide all the info I can give so you can help me out making it work outside.

Thank you.

You'll probably need to configure port forwarding to access a server from the outside.

A little information here:
