Something like mp3gain integrated in jukebox would be cool.

They have it. It is called Replay Gain and it works great. The only problem I can see is that the gain values are not (or were not if it is fixed) stored in the ID tag.

I used a hex editor to see the guts of an mp3 file and found this added to the beginning of the file after using the Replay Gain analyze feature of MJ 8.0.227, which indicates that the data IS stored in the file itself:
