Panes view - File Path not browsing properly...
« on: September 01, 2013, 08:07:02 am »

Hi - I'm not sure if this was mentioned yet; my search didn't show any discussion on this bug.

When using a panes view, the "File Path" field only seems to work if you let it browse from the root, but not if you tell it to start at a given folder.  I'm using build 215.

Reproduce like this:
- In a panes view, change one of the panes to "File Path" and enter/browse to a starting point for the path
- the pane will show "All locations ([your path here])" and "unassigned" - cannot browse to sub-folders in your starting path.

If you edit the pane and remove the path the pane allows you to browse the volumes and folders as intended.

Confirmed.  MC Mac is not handling forward slashes correctly here.

This appears to be fixed in .218.

Hi, I downloaded and installed Mc 19 & MC18 on Mavericks and wanted to restore my Library. Both versions set a " \ " behind every path. I can't restore my library imported from windows.
File entries are there but I can't set a correct path

Tag: Filename (path) is buggy

The first change of path results in thousands of renamed tracks which became unplayable.
