Need help setting best sound
« on: December 22, 2013, 09:59:27 pm »

I'm looking for some instruction on how to get the best sound from my system using JRiver 19. I can't seem to find the right sections or dropdown boxes if you will. I should get one thing out in the open, I have a love/hate relationship with computers. Having said that, any detailed information or screen shots on exactly how to make the necessary changes would be greatly appreciated. I'm listing some general info on the system I'm using.

Dell XPS desktop, 12 gigs ram, windows 7, I forget the processor speed
AudioQuest Carbon USB - Luxman U-100R USB converter -
Kimber Kable DV-75 digital interconnect - PS Audio Digital Link III -
PS Audio GCHA headphone amp and finally to set of Sennheiser 650's

Thanks.

Welcome.

You might start here:

This is also a good guide (sorry it's a little out-of-date in places; hopefully CA will update it someday):
